Locked out

I’m a mess. Between traveling and getting married, I’ve become a disorganized mess. I swear I’m not normally this way.

I’m currently sitting on the floor outside my apartment. Why you ask? It’s quite simple. I walked out of my apartment without my keys. I know. That’s not even the worst part. I also walked out without my metro card, debit card, and both of my credit cards. I know. I’m a genius. Oh and my cell phone is dead. So now I’m stealing Internet from myself (ok so maybe it’s not stealing if it’s mine) on my iPod touch and trying to be productive.

But this weekend, it’s seriously time to get my life back in order. Because this is ridiculous.

May 26 Update:  Turns out that the key to my apartment was in my purse the whole time.  I have now attached my apartment key to a large, bright pink keyring so I can find it in my purse.

Congrats Dr. Jane!

I want to give a special shout out to one Miss Janie, who had a ridiculously long presentation the other day.  And it went very well.  So well that she is now DR. JANIE!!!

Congrats, Jane!  Five LONG years in the making.  But you never gave up, especially when it got really difficult.  AND you still partied like a rockstar throughout most of it.  I’m so excited and proud of you.

Show Jane some major love!

Why, Hello There

Hi.  Sorry…I…err.. forgot about you.  I didn’t forget, per-say.  I’ve just had a lot going on, and not a whole lot of time.  Its been a busy month, so I’m going to recap in a few posts and try to include lots of pictures.

So, where to begin. Ah yes.  At the end of March, my mom and my bridesmaids pulled together a FANTASTIC bridal shower back home in Atlantic City.  The restaurant, AC Bar and Grill, is owned by an old family friend.  We had the whole top floor to ourselves and it was a good time.  No cheesy bridesmaid games, just lots of catching up with people.

Then April was a whirlwind.  Seriously, it was all just a blur.  Lots of finalizing and details and I don’t even know what.

Oh I know what.  Lindsay got married!!  In mid-April, Ben and I rented a car and headed up to Conn. for the wedding.  Luckily, Ben’s brother and his wife lived very close to where the wedding was, so we spent Friday night with them.  It was nice to spend some time with them.  Lindsay’s wedding was amazing and fabulous.  The bride looked beautiful and everything went very smoothly.  And it was great to see a lot of people we hadn’t seen in a while.  A bit of relaxing was just what we needed.

Ok that’s all for tonight. Good night
